The Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Discipline (MCP) is an interdisciplinary division that brings together about 23 scientific staff, many of whom work in areas related to drug design and discovery. The scientific areas encompassed by MCP members are very diverse, ranging from cancer, to regulation of metabolism and neuroscience. The Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology explores how cells communicate, interact and enable complex physiological function.. Our labs take an interdisciplinary approach, with an emphasis on quantitative and structural approaches drawn from multiple scientific disciplines, including structural biology, biophysics, cell biology, immunology and neuroscience.
